Greenwood Gallery is based in the heart of Norfolk (find us). Artists work we have available include Geoffrey Chatten, Rowland Fisher, Campbell Archibald Mellon, Edward Brian Seago, Sir Alfred Munnings, Kieron Williamson, Roy Petley, Marcus Ford, Edward Wesson, Harry Becker, Arthur Edward Davies, and many others. Viewing of any artwork is via appointment and we are available seven days a week. We will always try to accommodate any request for viewing at a time convenient for you. We are always looking to buy original fine art by renowned local artists or art inspired by Norfolk and surrounding area.

Featured Artist – Owen Waters
For the first quarter of 2026 we are pleased to have a nice collection of his work.
Owen Waters was born in Acle, Norfolk in 1916 and was educated at Great Yarmouth grammer school before joining the Army.
He received no formal training but he joined the ‘Great Yarmouth Society of Artists’ and the ‘Norwich Art Circle’ and had the benefit of the guidance of such esteemed painters as Arnesby Brown, Campbell Mellon and Edward Seago who was to provide the greatest bearing upon his work and his influence can be clearly seen.
After active service in the Second World War, he returned to Acle and from 1970 onwards devoted himself to painting, producing impressionistic views, mainly of the Norfolk Broads and surrounding area, often captured from his boat, Bessie Belle.
In his latter years he could no longer work on a larger scale but producing paintings on 9″ x 12″ and 12″ x 16″ boards. His last painting was of St Benets Abbey and was still unfinished on his easel when Owen Waters died on 30th June 2004 aged 88 years.
